Bio
Taner is a Master Mariner with extensive Chemical and Product Tanker experience. He joined RightShip as a Vetting Superintendent in February 2016. Being part of London team, he assists customers in managing their exposure to marine risk by identifying and eliminating substandard ships from their supply chain, whilst keeping direct contact with shipowners/managers to improve overall maritime safety standards in the industry.
Before RightShip, he worked as a consultant and supervised several tank cleaning operations, conducted several audits and inspections on board. He also took part in a project to apply VR technologies into maritime training.
Taner is passionate about improving the quality of training standards and create a safer work environment in shipping.
Taner holds a master's degree in Shipping, Trade and Finance from Cass Business School.
