Bio
Georgios serves as Operations, Technical & Support (OTS) Manager within Fleet management. In this role, he leads support departments across Fleet Management, advises operational teams on technical matters, and oversees the development of procedures and processes for new services.
Following a decade of seagoing experience up to the rank of 2nd Engineer, Georgios joined Bureau Veritas in 2013 starting as an NS surveyor, auditor and BVN inspector until his promotion within Fleet Management to Marine Operations Deputy Manager for Greece, Black Sea Region & Turkey, North Europe & UK (MO3).
Following a three-year tenure as Technical Superintendent at a Greek ship-owning company, Georgios has returned to BV in 2023 operating as Technical and Training Expert for Fleet Management in the Support, Audit and Training department.
Georgios holds a master's degree in marine engineering from Newcastle University and graduated from the Merchant Marine Academy of Macedonia in Greece.
